About the Tour de France

The race began in 1903 with less than 80 entrants, some of whom were professionals and others just seeking adventure. Today, the Tour de France is the world’s most elite bicycle race, with around 200 athletes competing in teams for the lowest cumulative time.

The action kicks off in a different location every year (not necessarily in France), before finishing along the Champs-Élysées in Paris after 21 stages of racing. You don’t need tickets, but should arrive a few hours early to avoid road closures and secure a good viewing spot.

Most stages start and end in remote locations without major airports, so chartering a private jet is the best way to get there. Whether you’d like to catch just one stop of the tour or follow the entire race, contact us to book your private jet charter.
